REZUMAT

Nevralgia de trigemen, precum şi alte dureri orofaciale care fac diagnosticul diferenţial cu aceasta, pot fi frecvent diagnosticate ca şi odontalgii şi se intervine prin metode stomatologice, ceea ce nu rezolvă durerea, aducând în plus o serie de inconveniente pacienţilor. Voi insista asupra diagnosticului diferenţial al diferitelor tipuri de durere şi asupra tratamentelor specifice acestora, în vederea unei mai bune colaborări între stomatologi şi neurologi, dar şi a unui prognostic mai bun.
