REZUMAT

Tratamentul oro-dentar în zona laterală maxilară prezintă un anumit potenţial pentru producerea de complicaţii la nivelul sinusurilor maxilare. Când apar, aceste complicaţii sunt severe, sunt mai greu de manageriat şi pot duce în final la eşecul tratamentului. Această prezentare îşi propune să evidenţieze etapele terapeutice în care pot să apară astfel de complicaţii, pentru a reduce riscul producerii lor şi pentru a creşte performanţele terapeutice pe termen lung.
